OnCall4Care Community Guidelines
COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
When you accept work assignments or employ professionals through the network of OnCall4Care you’re contributing to a community that puts the needs of others first. If it be an elderly resident living in a nursing home, sitting for a child in CPS or tending to a patient in a hospital, we recognize that our duties as caregivers & nurses are more important than if you are perm or temp. The Community of OnCall4Care can agree no matter what side of the isle you sit on; everyone is treated with equal respect and mutual kindness. Because we’re all in this together…FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THE PATIENT, RESIDENT or CHILD WE CARE 4!
We are all professionals. We are all adults. We love what we do, or we shouldn’t be doing it. What makes things difficult is when people or organizations don’t fulfill their obligations or expectations. That’s why it’s important to play your role!
- You honor the work assignment. If for some reason things have changed you make every effort to call the other party the minute you know plans have changed plus you call the OnCall4Care HOTLINE . You then continue to call the other party until reached.
- You are fully prepared for the assignment to take place. This means all arrangements are secured to ensure safety to and from the location . All needed supplies are stocked and ready for use. All necessary communication and direction have been delivered.
- You show up where and when you say you will. (If you are to be late please make sure you have constant communication with the appropriate direct supervisor before they are reaching out to you)
We would all agree, for everyone to remain safe in a healthcare environment it is vital that each and every person play their part. You can help by holding yourself accountable!
- You show up where and when you say you will. (When you are late or worse [No Show] you ultimately put the resident/patients we Care 4 and those around them in danger!)
- You are always dressed professionally. (Scrubs, closed toed shoes, trimmed nails, proper identification badge etc.)
- You stay awake and keep proper documentation throughout the entire shift. (If no login has been given keep a handwritten journal and present that to the DON or Supervisor for data entry at end of the assignment)
Speak up with feedback and honest ratings. Whether you’re sharing love, expressing a concern, or bringing attention to an issue that impacts our Contractors or our Facilities in the Network, your voice helps make our time together even better.
- You give five stars for great experiences with your Contractor or your Facility, like team oriented, an on-time arrival, or just some good old-fashioned friendliness.
- You provide details with your rating if something goes wrong so we can make it right — and work to keep it from happening to someone else.
- Contractors and Facility users alike can share ideas with your local OnCall4Care Advisory Council, or become a member yourself. And you can join us at OnCall4Care Hubs and community events.

What if these guidelines aren’t for me?
We get it. Some of these guidelines aren’t for everyone. But behavior that violates them isn’t welcome
when you’re using OnCall4Care. Anyone who doesn’t take these guidelines — and OnCall4Care’s Terms of
Service — seriously may be permanently removed from the OnCall4Care platform.
